We might be able to see HarmonyOS from Huawei in the most-anticipated notebook device—HarmonyOS PC—in April. Certain Huawei releases for the first half of the current year are on the way. One of them is apparently PC-based software, which may be viewed a couple of months from now.
The leak from FixedFocus indicates the Huawei HarmonyOS PC will be released in April 2025. According to the tipster, two flagship notebooks will supposedly arrive with the PC software.
There will be two new MateBook—Huawei’s own notebook computers (or laptops, for short)—codenamed with an ‘H’ letter, possibly with Huawei’s operating system pre-installed in them.
Most of the netizens presumed that the two flagship notebooks would be MateBook X Pro 2025 and a new line known as Hunter Gaming PCs. The latter would release more exciting AI aspects compared to the former’s iteration, whereas the former would revolve around better gaming.
Still, others presume that the flagship products would be part of the firm’s tablet clan. But, Huawei hasn’t made claims to affirm such presumptions.
In the last year, Huawei Consumer Business Chairman Yu Chengdong revealed that next-generation MateBooks would ship with HarmonyOS. It seems like the firm is preparing to unveil its first laptop using its own computer-based operating system.
Huawei has not officially announced a timeline for the HarmonyOS PC release. However, there were a few leaks that indicated the product would be released in H1 2025. There is a chance for us to witness Nova 14 series, new MateBooks, and HarmonyOS PC hogging the spotlight in late April.
